Signup online to reserve your spot: Can I Eat That? A Foraging Walk and Talk | Warner Library
Join Heather Flournoy from Wild Roots Initiative as we learn how to identify herbal medicine and culinary plants available in the wild around us.
This program starts with an indoor orientation and introduction before moving outdoors for a hands on experience.
We’ll walk the grounds of the library and nearby areas discussing plants, how to identify them and their uses. We’ll pick small amounts of leaves and flowers while reviewing safety, common look-alikes and sustainable foraging practices.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
