Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month 

Engage in fun bilingual stories, rhymes and songs. Create a native corn husk doll to continue storytime at home.

Celebra el mes de la Herencia Hispana con rimas, historias, y canciones bilingües. Crea una muñeca con hojas de maíz.


Our weekly storytimes are Monday - Friday.   Teddy Bear Storytime is one Thursday a month at 7 pm; Saturday Stories are twice monthly at 11:30 am 


Each program is age appropriate; please join the program that's just right.

Special Programs 

Fall 2018 Preview: Fiesta Flamenca with Rebeca Tomás
Hispanic Heritage Workshops September 17 and September 24  
FREE & FAMILY FRIENDLY! Workshops will be fun, interactive, and educational with explanations and dance routines that work for all ages and maturity levels.  Students of all ages will learn about the culture & history of Flamenco, as well as the proto-typical footwork (zapateo), castanets (las castañuelas), and rhythmic hand clapping (las palmas).
TALLERES DE BAILE FLAMENCO con REBECA TOMAS GRATIS y PARA TODA LA FAMILIA!  Los tallers son divertidos, interactivos, e informativos, con combinaciones de baile flamenco que van bien para todas edades.  Participantes aprenderan sobre la cultura y la historia de Flamenco, junto a lo mas tipico del baile: zapateo, castañuelas, y las palmas.

Teddy Bear Storytime & Family Craft

  One Thursday a month @ 7pm

Wear your pajamas if you like and bring your favorite teddy for stories, rhymes, and songs. Come for storytime and then stay for a related craft for the whole family.


Craft Table

    Monthly  @ 3-8 pm

Time to get creative! For children of all ages. Cargivers must remain at the table with children under seven.


Book Groups (meet once a month)

Bilingual Buddies Book Group - K-3 and 4-6 graders.

Readers Rule! - grades 3 - 7 

Diverse Verses Book Group for 1-3 graders and 4-6 graders. 

Deweys and Dewdettes Discovery Club for grades 2-4  and 3-6.
