The Westchester Region NAACP/ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural,
Technological and Scientific Olympics) proudly presents in concert,
The Brice Buchanan Trio featuring pianist, Brice Samuel Buchanan.

Brice Buchanan is a 17 year old high school senior who grew in
Mount Vernon NY. From an early age, Brice showed a vast interest in
playing instruments, creating music and learning all there was about
his craft.

As a student at the Denzel Washington School of the Arts,
Brice auditioned as a percussionist, and quickly impressed his
teachers that he could play multiple instruments quite well.

Although Brice was multi-talented, his heart landed him with the
piano. Brice has had the opportunity to perform in concerts,
multiple venues, and special events.

He was a member of a Jazz
band called, “Full X Black.” Presently, he is known as the leader of
the Brice Buchanan Trio. Brice’s mentor is jazz great Antonio Ciacca.

Brice hopes to continue to expand his talent and turn his passion into a full and exciting career.
