Seed Library

What is a seed library? It is a free exchange of flower and vegetable seeds sponsored by Warner Library. You will be able to ‘check out’ seeds in the spring and summer to plant. In the fall, you can harvest seeds to return to the library. The seed library is back!   Warner Library patrons who would like seed packets can choose a total of five vegetable or herb choices.

Come into the library and choose your seeds. The following seeds have been made available by Deb Taft of Mobius Farm efforts with various seed companies and an extremely generous grant from the Kendal on Hudson Residents Association Local Charities Committee.  Many thanks to our caring and generous neighbors at Kendal!

Beans, Beets, Broccoli/cauliflower, Cabbage, Carrots, Corn, Gourds. Herbs, Lettuce, Melons, Onions, Other greens (collards, kale, bok choy, spinach), Peas, Peppers, Pumpkins, Radishes, Squash – summer, Squash – winter, Tomatoes, Turnips
