Spring Storytime Session Begins March 27 & Ends June 2, 2017

Our weekly storytimes are Monday - Friday.   Teddy Bear Storytime is one Thursday a month at 7 pm; Saturday Stories are twice monthly at 11:30 am.

Each program is age appropriate; please join the program that's just right.

Celebrate Children’s Day / Children’s Book Day

Travel to Japan with Kizuna Daiko: Japanese Taiko Drumming. “Taiko” in Japanese means drum. Taiko is an ancient form of drumming that has its roots in Japanese culture and is prominent in ceremonies and celebrations. It is also accompanied by movements which identify with Japanese martial arts. Come for the experience and the opportunity to share and participate in an interactive presentation that is powerful, fast and fun for the whole family!  Light snacks and prizes for all.

 

Celebra el Día de Los Niños / Día de los Libros

Viajen a Japón con Kizuna Daiko: Tamborileo Japonés. La palabra “Taiko” en Japonés, significa “gran tambor”.  Taiko es una forma antigua de tamborileo que tiene raíces en la cultura Japonesa y es prominente en celebraciones y ceremonias. También, el Taiko será acompañado con movimientos de arte marcial.  Vengan para la experiencia y la oportunidad a participar en una presentación animada de música que es ruidosa, rápida y muy divertida para toda la familia!  Meriendas y premios para todos.

Teddy Bear Storytime & Family Craft

  One Thursday a month @ 7pm

Wear your pajamas if you like and bring your favorite teddy for stories, rhymes, and songs. Come for storytime and then stay for a related craft for the whole family.

 

Craft Table

    Monthly  @ 3-8 pm

Time to get creative! For children of all ages. Cargivers must remain at the table with children under seven.

 

Book Groups (meet once a month)

Readers Rule! - grades 1 - 4 

Diverse Verses Book Group for 1-3 graders and 4-6 graders.
