Join us in welcoming the former Sleepy Hollow High Schoolers home! Explore the sounds of Ecuador through a live presentation. Take part in this family event, learn about culture through music, taste traditional snacks and more.

Learn the basics of babysitting: interviewing tips, communication skills, safety and first aid tips, and feeding and caring for children, including diaper changing. All participants will receive a certificate at the end of the 4-hour class.


Saturday, July 18 @ 2 pm   When in Rome! Exploring the Art of Ancient Rome 

A introduction to the art and history of Ancient Rome, travel back in time and visit famous landmarks, learn about the destruction of Pompeii, and investigate how images and ideas from Ancient Rome still impact all of us today. Marisa covers architectural details in an accessible way for all students to understand.  The program includes the opportunity to touch and interact with authentic 2,500-year-old artifacts.

Come and meet a variety of interesting reptiles to touch and learn about, including Julius Squeezer our 13 foot Burmese Python.

For centuries mehndi the art of henna painting on the body has been practiced in India, Africa, & the Middle East, where the henna plant is believed to bring love & good fortune, and to protect against evil.  Everyone will get his or her own henna tattoo.
